Kitchen Cabinet Specification & Options Library

Most kitchen projects do not fail on looks; they fail on written detail. This library gathers the options PRODECO lists for its own modular kitchens — door surfaces, carcasses, back panels, hardware and countertops — so a brief for custom kitchen cabinets can be issued in a single pass, and every custom kitchen cabinet design decision can be traced back to a listed option before production begins.

How to Use This Library

Two scopes run through the whole page, and every matrix below is read with the same three flags. Decide which scope you are buying in before you open the tables.

PRODECO modular scope

Built from the standard size table further down this page, so the combinations are already defined.

  • Wall cabinets 350/720, base cabinets 600/700, tall cabinets 600/2250, island base 700
  • 18mm MDF door panel, 18mm carcass with melamine finishing
  • Blum or DTC hinges and drawer runners across the listed cabinet types
  • The product page states modularity reduces lead time and improves site installation efficiency

Fully custom scope

Used when the room, the colour or the material mix falls outside the standard matrix.

    • Customized colour and customized size, confirmed in writing before production
  • Door materials HPL / HPDL, MDF, melamine board and plywood
  • Surface treatments: acrylic, lacquer, PVC membrane and solid wood
  • Environment friendly E0/E1 grade panel option
ListedNamed in the specificationThe option appears in the product page specification for this model or its standard size table.
OptionChoose at quotationListed as a selectable accessory, material or finish rather than a fixed part of the build.
ConfirmPut it in the RFQThe decision needs a written answer from the factory before the drawing is released.

Door Panel & Finish Matrix

The door face is the one specification a client will judge every day, and it is also the easiest line item to leave vague. Every option below is named on the product page; the last column is what to settle before the doors are cut.

Door / panel option Listed as Why specifiers shortlist it Confirm before production
18mm MDF two-pack high-gloss lacquer
Listed
Stated door panel finish of this island model Reflective face for modern kitchens; the page states resistance to scratches and moisture that reduces maintenance cost Panel thickness, edge detail and gloss level on a physical sample door
Acrylic
Listed
Door panel surface treatment list Chosen where a flat, uniform reflective face is wanted across long door runs Which listed door blank it is applied to, and the edge banding colour match
PVC membrane
Listed
Door panel surface treatment list Specified for shaped or profiled fronts where a wrapped skin is preferred over a flat panel Profile depth and edge wrap, approved on a sample door
HPL / HPDL
Listed
Door material list Laminate-faced door for high-traffic fronts and for printed or solid-colour faces Face thickness and whether the visible edge needs a matching strip
Melamine board
Listed
Both door material and the carcase material of this model Practical for carcasses and for internal or cost-controlled fronts on the same order Melamine finishing, and that door and carcass tones match under site light
Solid wood
Listed
Door panel surface treatment list Chosen where grain and timber character lead the kitchen design Species, grain direction and how movement is handled in the frame

High gloss lacquer cabinet doors reflecting light in a modern kitchen

High-gloss lacquer front: the reflected light is the finish, so approve it on a sample before the run.

Door and carcass tones are ordered together — a tone mismatch is a site problem, not a factory problem.

Carcass & Box Build Matrix

Surfaces are what buyers photograph; the carcass is what they live with. Read this table layer by layer and each row ends with a decision you can settle in one email.

Build layer Options listed on the page What it decides Buyer check
Door panel 18mm MDF Listed Face thickness, door weight and how the hinge behaves over years of use Confirm 18mm on the drawing and keep the hinge cup position matched to the panel
Carcass 18mm melamine board (carcase material of this model); 18mm plywood, MFC or MDF with melamine finishing; particle board Option Rigidity of the box, screw-holding at the joints, and how the interior reads when a door is open State which carcass is priced for the modular run and which for the custom run — do not assume they match
Back panel 5mm MDF or 16mm MFC Option Rigidity of the finished unit and how the back of the box behaves in service areas Decide per run and put it in the RFQ, not after production has started
Base support ABS adjustable leg; kick toe in door-panel finish, aluminium, stainless steel or PVC Confirm Levelling on an uneven floor and how the plinth line reads across the run Confirm leg quantity per cabinet and kick toe material per zone of the kitchen
Panel grade Environment friendly E0/E1 grade Confirm The emission class you are specifying into the project Confirm the grade per board type, since carcass and back panel can differ
Packing Assembled or knock down Option Shipping volume, site labour and breakage risk on the way to the room Choose before the container plan is fixed, because it changes both cube and schedule

Hardware & Fittings Request Schedule

This module is written to be copied. Tick each line you want quoted, and send it with your drawing so nothing is left to a verbal agreement.

Countertop & Quartz Island Matrix

The countertop is the last specification that gets frozen and the first one that shows wear. The island in this model is described as using premium artificial quartz and other composites, and as enhancing functional workspace while withstanding heavy use.

Countertop option Listed as Where it fits the plan Edging you can pair
Artificial quartz Listed Premium artificial quartz on the island top Island and main worktops in a kitchen that is used hard every day Beveled edge · Flat / eased edge · Full bullnose · Half bullnose · Laminated bullnose · Laminated half bullnose

Standard Size & Configuration Table

This is the modular matrix behind the whole library: four cabinet types, their listed sizes and the build each one ships with. Read it as the default you deviate from, not as a limit.

Cabinet type Sizes (mm) as listed Door panel Carcass Back panel Hinge Drawer runner Adjustable leg Kick toe
